I wanna take Isabelle places just me and her, but then I read all these stories about human trafficking attempts and it just scares me out of it. 😣😣 It sucks bc I know she's in a better mood when she's out in the sunshine, but we live in the ghetto so she can't play outside here, and I don't wanna risk going somewhere with her alone and something happening...😐😐😐

@brookemmoore I've lived in TN my whole life, but it's progressively gotten worse over the last few years, especially bc so many people are moving here. We want to move to either Maryland or Washington one day!

@brookemmoore Nashville is one of the top 20 cities in the US as far as crime goes 😅 We don't live in, Nashville, but our town isn't much better tbh, and we live on the "poor" side. Across the street from a halfway house, there's a trailer park behind us and people get arrested for drugs/violence/whatever multiple times a day. We live a couple of minutes away from the projects. It's ridiculous. Our power goes out every time the wind blows (something the "rich" side doesn't have to deal with), and there are at least 2 drug/party houses on our street alone. It's pretty bad. We're moving soon, but it's not very far from where we live now 🙄🙄 I don't even go outside if the sun is down bc people are always lurking around being creepy. And homelessness is a big issue, too, which is sad bc there are so many empty houses around here...
There's a ghetto in Tennessee?? I never knew that. Have you thought about moving? Nothing beats the country girl.
I live in a small town but when I go to San Antonio or Houston I make sure I pack a tazor and pepper spray because you never know what can happen and since it's always just my gma my son and I we don't need to take any chances
Definitely pepper spray, a pocket knife if need be, an app on your phone that will text / alert anyone if you haven't texted / messaged them in a certain amount of time. But most importantly don't be afraid. Just keep your eyes on her and your surroundings, trust your gut and if something doesn't feel right then leave. This world is sick mama and we all have these fears, but try not to let it hold you back

Get pepper spray! I bought some so that my son and I could go to the park and walk on the nice days
