I know things could be worse but it still makes me sad every time I see this umbilical hernia while changing his pamper. 😢

It started out a little but now I feel like it sticks out more especially when he cries or grunts. I feel so bad... I read that 90% of it goes back in which makes me happy about avoiding surgery I just pray that it goes in soon.

I had one and my daughter has a small one. My dr said all babies have them and most close on their own. Some are more severe. It should close soon but I understand your concern. 😕

I hear ya. My almost 3 year old was born with a little umbilical hernia as well. At least he's a boy and you won't have to experience seeing him stand at the toilet in hopes of peeing out of it...yep that really happened. We'll likely get hers fixed before KG if it doesn't heal on its own. Hang in there!
