I'm really proud of my boyfriend. He's come a really long way since we started dating almost a year and a half ago. His whole life was about drugs, fights, and all that bad stuff. We both pulled each other out of a bad place. He never cared about having a job, but since I got pregnant and knew he was gonna have to step up he got a job at Whataburger. I was proud that he started to step up, but still disappointed because I knew he could have done way better than getting a job at a fast food restaurant, getting paid minimum wage. I can't depend on him at all. He's been doing really well at his job and I'm glad the mangers love him and he loves it there, but, with a baby on the way he needs to be doing something more:/ Today he called me on his break, and told me that while he was working drive through, one of the customers gave him his card and told him to call him when he got out of work if he was interested in working sales. It was a general manager from a car dealership. If he can actually land this job as a salesman, this is gonna help SO much. I'm really am proud of him. I always knew he was capable of good things and so much more than he was doing, and that's why I've stuck around. I know he can do well. Hopefully this all works out!!!!!

That is correct and his family has been on drugs at one time so his family doesn't know either so it's just my side of the family that knows I'm pregnant
@1sttimemommy84, I'm sorry to hear that:/ I almost didn't tell my boyfriend I was having his baby, cus he was in jail when I found out.😒 I wanted nothing to do with him at that point. But after he got out, I couldn't hold it in anymore and I just told him.. And I thank God, that did actually make him want to change. I was really afraid it wouldn't. You and your baby will be better off without him though, if he doesn't want to do better for you all. Nobody needs that kind of stress and negativity. @1sttimemommy84
Yeah, my first thought was, what if he takes the job, doesn't make enough sales or something, and gets fired. Then what:/ but I think a try would be worth it! Thank you:) @mommyofcohenjayceandmatthew
My ex fiance relapsed on drugs right before I left him and couldn't hold a job for more then 3 weeks and he doesn't know I'm pregnant with his baby and will never know since I don't want my baby to be around that. I'm glad ur husband changed for u and ur baby that is a blessing
If he's good at sales and meet his goal he will do just great but he will have to hustle for his sales best of luck to him and your family love
Lucky for you he was able to change. My first husband, father to 2 of my children never did and is currently in prison for the 4th time. SMH
