Right that's what im saying not all babies are born 7 8 9 pounds . You can be 5/6 pounds and be just as healthy my son didn't need any assistance with anything he came home when I went home he was perfectly fine . And he's still alil thin for his age but he's also super tall for his Age as well because his father is super tall . Long as they're healthy I don't see why it matter about if there 5 or 8 !

@jeanetta25, i know i was telling my doc maybe i just have small babies cuz my daughter was only 5 pds 11oz

My son was only a week early and he weighed 5 pounds and was completely healthy . He didn't gain weight any faster being out than the norm . some babies are just small .

i dont know they say she very healthy and whatnot she just small but i have an appointment monday and they gonna explain everything to me better because im confused

They say if babies are smaller being on the outside is more beneficial for them because they can start to gain more weight.

Why would they want to take her out early based on her size? Is she in distress?
