What can I do about my baby's peeling skin?
He's a week old and he's shedding so much. I know it's normal but I was just wondering if I should put lotion on him or baby oil...? FTM

@babynessa, @thatmomlyfe16 yeah my pediatrician told me no lotion or baby oil too and then I looked it up and it said they were both fine.. I haven't put anything on him. I just needed a second opinion! Thanks ladies!

My daughter's doctor told me that lotion doesn't help but makes it worse. She also said lotion for a newborn is not recommended because your baby is so new that you don't know if they'll react to it. She told me to put olive oil or coconut oil on her if I wanted to. But really it will go away on its own the oil will just help a little.
