My husband's best friend's mom hosted the party for us and his sisters helped her plan the whole thing. We did co-ed and there were around 20-25 people there.

I originally wanted have bbq catered but between that and the tables and a tent and drinks and having to clean the house before and after it was coming up very expensive and I didn't want to have to do any work. Just show up and have a nice time. That's when I decided on the restaurant

Thanks. Im at about the diy and I don't like to spend $$ when I know I can do it myself. I made the cake tray too.

I'm trying to do an outdoor bbq more games and fun kinda like a family reunion pot luck(because theres so many that i want to invite). just don't have the space for how many i wanna invite. we "eloped" so a lot of ppl wants to be a part but not a lot are willing to help the part @valrocks,

I invited 50. 38 came. I made all the invitations and printed menus and other random printed things and made all the table decorations. I did a brunch at a restaurant and got a cake, I spent around $1000 for everything. No alcohol. Oh and I paid for everything because my mom thought it was stupid to do it at a restaurant. She wanted to do it at her house
