When I was pushing something popped and blood got all over the doctors face. But my BF wanted to cut the cord but my son pooped in me so they needed to take him right after he was out to make sure he was okay @jacesterlingsmommy but I love talking about my labor and birth. Any chance I get in telling people about it

Mine was convinced (since the day I found out I was pregnant) he was going to pass out during the birth. Everyone kept telling him he'd be fine and he had to look. Thankfully when it came time he did great and instinct took over. He wasn't going to cut the cord but she just handed him the scissors and he didn't think twice about it. His favorite part of the birth is when they pulled the baby out a bunch of fluid squirted out and got the doctor, nurse and him. haha It's so nice to be able to of had someone there by our side for all of it and be able to tell the story with you. We talked about the whole birthing process for a couple weeks after. But I totally know what you mean about all the fluids. At one point they even started pumping fluids back into the baby for cushion since his heartrate wasn't doing well. I'm honestly surprised I didn't have a c section.

@jacesterlingsmommy, I looked awful. They gave me so much iv fluid that my entire body blew up. My face and hand and feet were HUGE. I was like that for a few days. He left for my epidural. He can't stand needles. I'm surprised he stayed for all my Ivs lol. And he watched our son come out

At one point I had no energy and could barely talk but managed to ask him to put my hair up. That was a hot mess. I'm glad he didn't get a pic of me then. It was during my 2nd epidural and I was all sweaty. I knew it looked like crap at the time but didn't care. lol

Mine didn't know what to do with himself. I was keeping to myself and didn't want to be touched so I just laid there like that grabbing the hospital bed with each contraction. He said he was just pacing back and forth. He said he pooped like 5 times because he was so stressed out haha

He also took one of me with my shirt off. I looked like a sumo wrestler 😂 he did get me with the air mask and towels on my head

It's funny to look back on them. Mine took this one at the height of my misery and pain to show me what I looked like. haha
