She could have just unwrapped it and left it , that's weird. Maybe they were really worried about her circulation ! It might be safer that she clamped it!!! @daij

I wanted to do it but when my daughter came out my doctor said the cord was wrapped around her legs, she didn't really explain why she still couldn't delay. It's a good choice tho

It delayed until the placenta stops doing its job, once all the blood is pumped out of it. There's a lot of nutritional things that it still pumps out even after birth. I would definitely look into it! @answeredprayer16

delayed for how long and what's the last things that are so important? I haven't even thought to look into any of that.

me too. I'm still back and forth on everything else but delayed cord clamping is a definite yes.
