Most definitely will. I highly recommend putting the antibiotic ointment with pain reliever on it as well I feel like it really helped. Poor baby ❤️

@forever223, he will be 2 weeks on Saturday and weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces. We are able to give him Tylenol and they gave us Vaseline. Hopefully it will help 🙏🏻

To clarify I said all four babies--mynoldest is a girl so didn't have to go through this lol just didn't want to confuse you. Hope my comments help you with your baby boy ❤️

How old is he? Ask for sweeties (I think that's what it's called) if he is under 6 or so lbs he can't have pain medicine..or google how to make the sugar water for newborns for pain. Also depending on his weight he can have a little bit of Tylenol (not ibuprofen) if he seems in a lot of pain. Mine was 7lbs8oz when he was weighed before the procedure at 3 weeks old, and was able to have 1ml of Tylenol. My other two boys never had the pain relieving ointment, and Tylenol, so they were just beside themselves! This time I knew I'd be handling all four babies by myself while my hubby ran the company, so I wanted all the tips and tricks to keep our littlest as comfy as possible! He only really seemed like it hurt him for the evening after the procedure. After that he seemed pretty comfortable :)

Awe :( my baby got circumcised a week ago and it's totally healed today. Urologist had me keep pain relieving antibacterial ointment on it, and Vaseline in diaper. If there's poopy on his weiner use a little water bottle to spray it off and then gently pat dry. The first couple days are the hardest :( after day 3 it's much better.
