My sister in law was so press to do it I guess so my sisters won't. I'm having mine at 31 weeks. but since I haven't invited a lot of ppl I'm going to use it as a way to take my time on getting whatever ppl don't get and setting up his stuff.

Yes 34 weeks is good. Gives you enough tome to get the rest of what you may need

@mandy890, my MIL is lucky I didn't 😂 It was HER hare brained idea to start planning a baby shower after I got into my 3rd trimester!

@mandy890, it is girl! They actually asked me when I wanted one my first pregnancy. Consideration for the pregnant person is nice lol.

I had my showers with my first at like 27/31 weeks. This pregnancy, everyone waited to decide if they wanted to do one, so I was 36/37.5 weeks at them. I was so much more comfortable (and way less hostile) having them earlier.

It's always good to have it early, obviously not before the 12 week mark because of the higher risk to miscarriage, but having an earlier one is good gives you time to prepare for baby instead of 35+ weeks where is pregnant women become to tired and big to want to do anything .

Some people wait until they are like 36+ weeks. No way. I've been super uncomfortable so the last thing I'd wanna do is deal with all those people lol.

I did mine with my first early. I think I was like 29 weeks. I didn't wanna be huge and uncomfortable for it. This baby I did at 32 weeks. Just gave me longer to procrastinate getting things ready 😂
