@8yearsapart, I used the Emory board up until last two weeks started using the baby nail clipper. Only when he's on the breast asleep. Was nervous as hell but it worked out.

Np. I thought about that too but I realize my teeth was too big lol and I couldn't see how deep I was going the nail clipper was better

I thought about mittens but she discovered her hands n constantly sucking n sobbing on them. I'd be washing the mittens way too often

Good idea - that is a major reason why I've avoided attempting to clip. That is safer, thanks. @angelsmommy,

@shorty02, My daughter does the same, I had to start keeping mittens on her.

Wait until baby is sleeping and use a good light so you don't mistakenly cut :) because I know with my baby skin blends right in with his nails .

Try a nail filer so you don't accidentally cut to deep

Kinda sounds gross but I used to bite my daughters nails off when she was that little. She was my first baby so I was paranoid. But I know they sell tiny baby nail clippers.

I filed my daughters nails. she kept scratching her face n leaving marks. she has scratches on her nose and next to get eyes. I was too scared to clip them
