In my hospital they dont really let you go until you have had a bowel movement and passed wind xx

12 hours :) Had no choice as the medication they gave me made me go 😞😞 I was also still abit numb from the spinal and couldn't stop it happening. So the midwives had to clean it and wipe my butt.... 😐this happened through the early hours of the day until the afternoon...Then finally I got my catheter and everything out so I could go to the bathroom myself. It was day 3 when i got firmer poos lol. It was fine xx

okay I'll speak to midwife Wednesday if I haven't gone, I used to have that lactose anyway so I no what to expect haha @cayleighnatasha xx

took me like a week and they gave me lactose but I was too scared to poo so I didn't take it but was back in hospital and I had no choice to take it and I that's when I went haha xx

I had a bowel movement the day after I've gave birth with three of my kids. The midwives made sure I had a poo, its all part of making sure I was healing properly after labour. I was so scared to poo after labour to but it was fine, actually, afterwards I felt really good, it's like your all cleaned out on the inside. sorry for tmi but you'll get what I mean once you go. Its a strange sensation but youll feel better after it xxx

id say not long cos they shoved something up me arse! after than thing it was about 10 days xx
