My other halves family aren't going to be invloved at all with our daughter and I doubt she'll ever even meet them... I think he's worried about what he's going to say to her when shes older because the reason they arent invloved is because of prison, drugs, abuse, manipulation ect. How do you explain that to a child?

Yeah it's better not to bring them up but if she does ask it's just an idea of what to say, I'm sure you and your OH will give her so much love that she won't notice a few more people being in her life xxx

@briony1994, we probably wont say anything until she starts asking questions like if she asks my oh where his mum and dad are ect xx
Depends on what age you are planning on telling her, maybe if she's younger just say they are naughty so they don't get to come and see people? Then when she's old enough explain to her the real reasons, I'm not to sure how I would handle it but if I had to I think I would personally just go with the naughty thing xxxx
