before I forget....to those mommies ahead of me or anyone really that can answer my question. The 'birth plan' is it paperwork that is given by your OB or do you just jot it down on a piece of paper and let them know that's what you want? Thank you.

your welcome. It's like a checklist & you just check the one you want. It was super simple and easy to do. Doctor looked over it & said it was easy to understand.

ok I'll do that thank you @tmross
I downloaded one from thebump.com it has all the information and then I have it to my doctor & he faxed a copy over to the hospital to put with my registration.
would you mind showing me a sample of your birth plan if it's not too much to ask if not I understand @deafmama16 thank you :)
I do both heck I already got two page worth of my birth plan to give to doctor and nurses when I go into labor
you just talk to them about what you would like to happen. You can just write it down on a paper for later use
