I smoke Fri-Sun nights after my son goes to bed I put him in the bed and I put his monitor on and go out to my porch and smoke a bowl or 2 it helps me unwind and if my son wakes up I change my shirt wash my hands and go lay down until he is sleeping and go watch TV until I go to bed. it's like a person drinking every night after a long day us mommies have rough days too and wanna indulge I feel weed is better than drinking the worst you gonna do is eat and go to sleep lol

I say it's better than being drunk and potentially harming your baby while drunk. I say go ahead 😊 just be safe is all

Haha well usually it was just me and my husband drinking together and I embarrassed the SHIT out of myself like the second time we even went out lol so I don't care about that but physically it makes me feel sooo nasty

@arivera64, thats what we done! I went back to where i used to live and got offered it and wouldnt bc i had to drive my baby home. I think as long as im responsible about it no judgement should be passed. @arivera64

I dont drink at all anymore bc being drunk is worse than being high to me. I still function right when im high but when im drunk im sloppy and fall those years are gone lol. @mommy_faith

It's not any different than people getting drunk at night when their kids are asleep. Except I think that is worse. I could still think straight and react better than a drunk person could. Agree with @crumchymomma better safe than sorry!

I agree with @arivera64 and the only reason I say don't do it while breastfeeding is because it is transferred to your baby through the milk. the only initial side effect to the baby is the baby might be sleepy, and your baby can fail a drug test up to 2 weeks after being exposed to it. but current studies show that it MIGHT have an effect on brain development. there are no 100% solid results yet, but they believe since 85% of brain development is during the first year of life, which is when you're "supposed" to breastfeed it could have effects on how the brain is developing.

I wasnt planning on starting back at all but i slipped up and did and they say it can go through your breast milk to baby so i quit breast feeding @taiboos_mommy16 @crunchymomma

@arivera64, exactly! @braelynnsmommy I won't smoke while pregnant or breastfeeding just because my babies come first but after a long day and daddy comes home and gets the girls to sleep I may indulge a little. But I will stop if it ever becomes an issue. My babies are first over everything.

I have been breast feeding for 6 months so I haven't done it in like year and a half and I use to do it every day lol I'll probably do it every once and a while once I stop breast feeding and the baby is older
