Yes I cosleep with my baby.
I was firmly against it. I always said I'd never do it and thought it was the worst thing in the world to possibly do. But no, having a child scream for hours being so tired from not sleeping is far worse. No I don't do it for myself to be able to sleep(which is nice) , I do it for him. Before I started cosleeping he NEVER slept, now that he sleeps with me he sleeps through most nights.
Other then him finally being able to sleep there are many studies stating the positives of cosleeping such as regulating his temp, blood sugar, and making him feel safe a secure by feeling my presence/heartbeat(Babies are use to being in the human body!)
So before you ask me 'aren't you afraid to roll on him' the answer is no. Cosleeping has made me a light sleeper with him in my arms, I wake up to the wiggle of his toe.
Cosleeping isn't for everyone, but it's for me and my child. So if you do it, keep doing your thing. If you don't cosleep, keep doing your thing too.

I do this as well and I also didn't plan to. My son HATES his bassinet, he'll only sleep in it for like 15-20 mins and it's just so much easier when it's time to nurse at night. Plus I've always been a light sleeper.
i felt the same way, now i love cosleeping! its so cute to roll over & see my baby already awake, she smiles all big, starts kicking, & yells! its a little uncomfortable because she likes to be right up against me so i can't exactly roll around the way i want, but she's happy ♡

I cosleep with my 1 month old AND my 2 yr old. I've been cosleeping since May 31, 2013. Neither child wouldn't sleep in a pack n play, bassinet, swing, crib. I've wasted about 300 win baby items to see if they would sleep in something. Got tired of wasting money.
