So this whole time I was told by my managers maternity leave was 12 weeks. Turns out it's 6, which leaves me with two weeks left to introduce a bottle and figure who's gunna watch my baby etc. Debating on quitting and finishing up school because 6 weeks is not enough time to spend with a newborn. What would you mommas do? 😟😟

I quit my job also to stay home with my son who was a preemie and I m still home getting ready ready to welcome my daughter

I will look into thank you 😊 @chela915 and @motheroftwojk I defiantly would have too. I had spoken to my job the other day my manager was like well can you come in next week I was just beyond pissed, some people just don't get it 😡
I actually quit my job because my daughter was a preemie and by the time she came home I had 2 weeks left on leave and my job cared nothing about it
you might want to ask if you have 6 weeks short term disability and 6 weeks maternity leave which would make it 12 weeks. That is how I got it.
