my daughter was 8lbs 8oz and she dropped to 7 lbs 11oz she stayed in newborns for a while..but now she is growing like a good!

my daughter was born at 8.1 and we left the hospital she was 7.2 so she fit in newborn for awhile! take into account baby will lose some weight because they were soaking for so long so they're bloated when they first come out!

Mine where about that size when they where born and they both fit in newborn for a week some things I got 2 weeks out of. I definitely wouldn't take tags off of anymore if you haven't taken them off yet

My son was 8 lbs 5 oz when he was born but no he didn't really fit into newborn. He was also almost 22 inches which was more the problem. He was too fat, just too long. I started with 0-3 months right away.

Yes but definitely not for long

I don't think they would fit them long enough to warrant spending lots of money on them. I'd get 2 or 3 outfits and a pack of onsies
