I'm curious how others would answer this, if this came home with your child?
I think it's Ridiculous & offensive! But maybe that's just my parenting way.

@soontobemomof4 girl, dont sign anything at all. Maybe speak to him teacher although if you don't sign it saying yes or no he automatically can't participate. I would go to the school board though with them knowing they have speech issues that's all it is, there is no reason to hold your baby bacm in kindergarten.

They've been trying to get my to allow it. They can't do it without my permission. My kids are categorized as "special needs" they have speech delays. They are wanting to hold him back because he has reading problems, he can't pronounce sounds properly, all that stuff, when he has a speech problem! I have yet to sign this, mainly because in a weird way I feel like if I say, no, (which is what I wanna say) that they will automatically retain him, & use this as my signature. @hermommy @taylorrleee1 I've been fighting with them for months. They didn't get him the extra help he needed, the lied to me & now my son is far behind because they didn't do their job right. It took them 5 months to get back to me about signing a paper to get him extra help. 😣
Agreed! Wow I can't believe a teacher actually sent this home. Don't you think a phone call or a meeting would be more appropriate?
I agree with you that's highly offensive and not nice:( i would have no idea how to answer that
