My friend had mirena and hasn't been able to keep or get pregnant she has a 8 year old though

I got the Mirena twice and never had these issues. I do believe that its because I have such an amazing Obgyn. She would always make sure it was in place the day of putting it in and a week after to make sure it didnt move. Then I checked for the strings every month sometimes twice a month and I could always feel them. I feel bad for women who have had bad experiences with this IUD when it was fantastic for me for 6 1/2 years.

My doctor put my iud in wrong I ended up pregnant but lost the baby because the hormones were still working...
