so sad I talked to the immigration officer and since I have no way to prove I live in the us for 5 years they won't make my baby a us citizen they will just make her a permanent resident. It sucks I lived in the us from 7th to 11th grade but they only count it after 14 and you have to be there pretty much all the time. The other option is for her birth father to give up right over her and my boyfriend would become her adopted father but the p. of s. won't so I have to go to very expensive lawyers. :'( we are going into a financial hole.
(just to clarify yes my boyfriend is Mexican but he was born and raised here his whole life)

thank you and I'm not sure. I have to find a way though. Her birth dad is Canadian so he's not much help and he won't forfeit the rights.

isn't the 5 years still counting? sign a lease that's proof:) i think or if you have a license. I'll try to help you figure this out anyway I can@claudia.aguilar.123

They allow it after 9th grade and I only had 9 the threw 11 and that's not the 5 years they want. @callumsmommy

@callumsmommy, I know I am so upset I'm fighting off the tiers. We were about to get ahead in life. our plan was make her a citizen, save up some money for a car and then get our own appt but now there is no chance of that and worst off I might be pregnant.
that's messed up😡 they'll let people in illegally and let them be citizens but a sweet innocent baby they won't ughhh messed up view here in the US@claudia.aguilar.123
