I did have wic when I first got pregnant but I may reapply to get formula @annabellesmommy

yeah!! that was my main issue. obviously I wake up anyway to feed her. but it was just ALOT to deal with having to nurse her and then pump the rest because my boobs would be so filled. do you have WIC? they give me 9 containers a month. this is my first month so I'll see if I need to get any extra ! I hear alot of people only have to buy one or two containers on their own !

yeah I understand especially waking up all times of the night. I'll try it out and see how it goes.I hate formula is so expensive @annabellesmommy

He latched right away once I saw the lactation consultant, I nursed for 26 mos and plan on nursing this baby also

I always used the guard they give you at the hospital. so she never was really on my actual nipple. but I stopped breastfeeding. it was tooo much for me. you have to breastfeed or pump every 2-3 hours, and I couldn't have my bra off for a second without leaking everywhere. and I would wake up with them so hard and painful and have leaked EVERYWHERE. lol it was just ALOT. but if you can do it then I highly suggest it! it's so healthy for the baby. my supply went down as well or else I probably would've just stuck it out and done it. I feel bad having to give her formula now! but its different for each person!
