at my ultrasounds appt today I was told my cervics is short measuring at 21mm and its contracting. they want me to see my OB because I may go into preterm labor. I'm 27wks baby is weighing 2lb15oz. can someone tell me what's going on? what does this mean other then I may go into labor soon? does this mean I have to put on bedrest? they did an internal ultrasound and now I'm crapping:0( I'm so nervous.

when I had my first they told me I was 3cm dilated at 6mth and was put on bedrest. I carried her past her due date and had to be induced.
I started taking pregestrone vaginally at 24 weeks because at the time of my appt I was also contracting and my cervix was short! They had Me take a test every two weeks called the fibronectin I think that's the name! Long story short I carried him over my due date and I had to be induced
The same thing happened to me!! Just pray about it!!! God is so good and he will see you through it
