@ejmommie, Lol same here i bought one can of similac formula😐 because my boobs are sensitive but I'm not leaking i have nothing coming out...and I'm almost going to be induced lol

but I do wanna breastfeed and use formula , but I'm scared I want have breast milk for him or to little lol @lalaloopsi

just get one without iron in it. they usually switch babies off the iron one cause it sometimes cause major constipation @ejmommie one can should be good

they use enfamil...but I don't know if he'll be using the one with the iron in it or not or will he be using the other ones @peachs75

contact your wic office to see what formula they put on the checks. here in pa is only similac unless dr ordered

When they discharge you can ask if they can give you some formula they only gave me like 8 little bottles until I was able to get some more formula

I bout cans of Similac just cause i was told is what was giving in the hosp lol...with my first and for my 2nd i bout 1 can because my first wasnt picky but all baby's are different and i don't want it to go to waste just been told most baby's use Similac but not all settle well in Thier bellys...i want to breast feed but again i dont want to happen what happen with my 1st i had 0 breast milk....maybe wait the hosp will give you some maybe as the mommies that just had babies maybe they was giving some it depends they ask u if u will formula feed or breast feed just say both lol

It depends i was given lil cases of bottle ready formula for my daughter because my milk didn't come in and she was loosing weight....we prepared because i was scared that would happen and we bout a few cans just to be on the safe side because wic isn't enough you will find your self buying extra....but thats just my advice from what i experienced i still breast fed and did formula... Things have changed a lot tho this was over 5 yrs ago lol.... Idk how things are now but i already have 1 can of formula ready just incase...cause also depends on baby and the needs they might not like or settle well with any formula js

Both times I was in the hospital and breast feeding and they sent me home with 6 of those little ones of the liquid milk

wic should be able to fit you in before then. just let them know your running low on formula.
