I was 3cm, but I was having strong contractions that didn't go away after 2 hours. so they went ahead and admitted me.

I was a zero! I was in labor for 5 hours before I made it to half a centimeter but they kept me at the hospital because I was over due and had contractions every 3 min

I was only 1 cm but my water broke

hospital will keep you when you hit 3 to 4cm

Usually they keep you at like 4 cm but it verifies by the situation lol

With my last I went into labor and I was 9 1/2 centimeters and my water never broke until the doctor broke it

I was 2 cm

You can go into labor and still not be dilated. or be dilated just to a 1. But I went into labor with my first and I was already 5 cm. and with my second I was 4 cm dilated when my water broke and didn't start having contractions until I was given pitocin. Everyone is different. 😊
