You can have internal hemorrhoids or external ones. If youre bleeding when pooping, you might have the internal ones. If you're in the shower feel around the area. The external hemorrhoids are very evident and it also hurts when you sit down. You feel something there. I had a whole bunch during my pregnancy and after birth. They were terrible.
