I have been told that my baby may be 9.5 lbs by my 40th week and a c-section is highly recommended. I understand the ultrasound is just an estimate but the Dr also measured my belly which is measuring in line with what the ultrasound suggested.
Anyone decide against a c-section for this same reason? How did everything go?

I think you would do perfectly fine pushing the baby out on your own. I wouldnt accept a c section it is a major surgery and it would take a lot longer to heal! Women push big babies out every day, your body is made for it! :-)

My daughter was 8 lbs 13 oz and 22 inches long and I'm 4'10 and 90 lbs (when I'm not preggo) and I didn't rip at all. Not a single stitch.b

do what you feel is best, just be informed. lots of women give birth with no issues to large babies. measurements are a guess.
