okay because all I know is its making me dilate fast because I was 2cm one day and the next day I was 3 cm and the ob said the baby should be arriving soon because his head is way down there and am trying to speed this up.@brightsunsett,

yeah! I started at 38 weeks

instead of pumping do nipple stimulation, you rub your nipples between your pointing finger and thumb 10 minutes at a time, give a 5 minutes resting and restart if you don't start having contractions. I did this like 5 times, in the bath so your relaxed and I started having contractions, but I had to end up getting induced anyways

so its safe to stimulate my breast while being 38 weeks?

I wouldn't recommend because the baby needs that first part of the milk like what @brightsunsett said

you could do it to stimulate birth, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you wanna just bottle feed cause baby's born that early can have nipple confusion, and that milk at first is the best vitamins they can get

well am also trying to do it so I can have this baby because they are taking Me Friday to have him and I wanna have him like right now am 80% and 3cm dilated

I heard it wasn't good to do before you actually give birth I forgot what was the medical reason but research it before you do anything.
