when I lost mine it was about a week and half before active labor, but I started having contractions within a couple of days.

I was induced so it didn't happen to me, but after my sister lost hers she was in labor a few hours later!

With my first I lost it in the morning and then my water broke at 11 that night. I really think it depends though... My second I didn't even lose it until active labor

i lost my mucus plug around 39-40 weeks and i still had to be induced at 41 weeks. everyone is different though so it just depends...
