I was put on 2000 a day I think 300 diet is crszy

I think my doctor thinks I'm fat he was happy when I lost 5 pounds in less than 24 hours

@dianne0825 I have been struggling with my sugar this whole pregnancy. My doctor put me on a low carb diet but never told me to only eat that many calories.

I am.... and everything I eat now makes me feel guilty because the doctor showed me pictures of what GD can do to babys and I'm now second guessing everything I eat and this just makes me want to cry :( @karnawest

Sounds like you need a new doctor! @doodiemo is right you need that much a day to maintain good nutrition. Even dieting not pregnant you still need at least 1200. Poor thing you must be literally starving...

There has to be a miscommunication. Maybe he meant 350 cal EXRTA a day which would make sense considering that youre pregnant... You can easily do that with a peanut butter sandwich so no dr in their right mind would tell a woman, let alone a pregnant woman that all she needs is 300-350 cal a day

no I don't think it's enough but he made me feel horrible because of the GD and now I feel even worse

320 a day? That's what you should be eating a meal.

doctor said since I have GD I need to limit how much and what I eat so if I go by his diet I'll have about 350-400 a day.... maybe
