👉QUESTION👈 For Mommas whose husbands or boyfriends had a vasectomy. We're expecting number 6 in August, a boy. I've used all kinds of BC and they've all been awful. My last resort was 'Essure' but I heard horror stories about it. So my husband is getting a vasectomy. Has anyone's SO had one Done? if so, how was it? did it hurt a lot? How did he feel after? My husband is kinda scared but willing to do it. Thanks Ladies.

@uhohitskyra Exactly, It's why we decided he'll get snipped. I'm more scared of the anesthesia. but It's cheaper, easier and safer for him to do it.

It's def much easier on them then it is on us to get our tubes tied!
I think its different for everyone because my dad didnt have any problems with his. it was a little sore for a couple days and he never complained. my uncle was the same way with his. my boyfriends dad said it was the worst pain of his life and he couldn't walk and blah blah but hes also the biggest cry baby you'll ever meet.
I only have 2nd hand info myself, but it's from my husband's best friend- said it wasn't comfortable (obviously! ) but he was able to have sex with his wife again about a week later. My husband is a total weenie (love him to death, but he's a baby about getting sick etc) and he's considered it for after we're done having kiddos
My dad had one last year, and he was in quite some pain, but not for long, maybe just a couple days. My husband refuses to ever get one. I'm sure it's just like any other surgery and it will be uncomfortable for a few days.
