I had it, they gave me amoxicillian right after i tested and they havent said anything else about it

@princessz21, lol, yes my fiance was like im not waiting for the nurses or doctors to ask im telling them! @rachel.potts i guess im just worried because if anything were to ever happen id blame myself because i have it! ill do research thats actually a good idea!

@ftmommie2015, I took it ok. I think it could be worse she gave me a pamphlet on it and it reassured me a lot. Most women don't pass it to their children. Maybe do some more research on it. It made me feel a little better.

yes I am too ... my sis in law had it so I didn't worry she said they give u 4 hrs of antibiotics ... its not bad its common so don't worry .. my bd asked me was it contagious lol he was more worried than me

@parkers_mommy, My doctor says its a bacteria your body can carry! she said about 50% of women have it! You have to have antibiotics when your in labor because if not the baby can get a really bad infection! @rachel.potts how did you take it? im scared and i cried!

what exactly is strep b? if you don't mind me asking... I read a lot if posts abut it but idk what it is.
